Repair the World Teen Service Corps

The Teen Service Corps is a 3-6 week service learning program in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Throughout the program rising 9th through 12th graders will create an amazing teen community of changemakers, learn about social justice through a Jewish and interfaith lens, and volunteer to make NYC a more equitable place for all!

Session 1: July 5- July 21 (Tues-Thurs)

Session 2: July 26- Aug 11 (Tues-Thurs)

Tuesday

  • 10:00-12:00 | Service: Urban Farming
  • 12:00-1:00 | Lunch, Free Time and Travel
  • 1:00-2:00 | Taking Creative Action through Music/Sports/Art/Writing
  • 2:00-3:00 | Social Justice Deep Dive

Wednesday

  • 10:00-12:00 | Guest Speaker and/or Neighborhood Walk
  • 12:00-1:00 | Lunch, Free Time and Travel
  • 1:00-3:00 | Mural Painting at a Community Center

Thursday

  • 10:00-12:00 | Service: Food Pantry
  • 12:00-1:00 | Lunch, Free Time and Travel
  • 1:00-2:00 | Taking Creative Action through Music/Sports/Art/Writing
  • 2:00-3:00 | Social Justice Deep Dive

Overnights

  • Each session may include one overnight experience

45 community service hours per session
