At the heart of CYJ is the belief that every Jewish child should have the opportunity to experience the magic of Jewish overnight camp. For over 100 years, CYJ has been following its mission to provide high level Jewish and Zionist experiences, while celebrating the diverse backgrounds and identities of all of our campers.

We are thrilled to announce our newest camp program yet, Machane Lev - Canada’s only overnight camp for Jewish campers of the LGBTQ+ community!

Machane Lev furthers our commitment to providing immersive Jewish and Zionist experiences to all members of Canada’s Jewish community. While our existing summer camp network will continue to open its doors to any and all Jewish campers, we know that the addition of Machane Lev will provide an open space for the affirmation and celebration of all sexual identities, gender identities and gender expressions in a Jewish setting.
