Camp @ JCC East Bay offers an unique outlet for children to express themselves in a supportive environment that balances flexibility with structure. We get messy, silly, and we are serious about having fun. We sing, we dance, and we explore our environment. And we always focus on building friendships and expanding interests. Camp celebrates community-based Jewish values, and welcomes campers of all backgrounds.
Our CIT program is designed to give 9th and 10th graders ample opportunity to develop invaluable leadership and professional skills—all while building friendships and having a blast! Each four-week session begins with training from our experienced afterschool teachers and camp staff. Over the course of the remaining weeks, CITs work with different age groups and fully develop a Friday program. Each session, these young leaders will also collaborate on a CIT Project, play a rol in thematic programming, and learn to be near-peer mentors for younger campers.
