Gindling Hilltop Camp

Weekly beach trips, mountain biking, and cooking are just a few examples of life at Gindling Hilltop Camp. This Southern California Reform Jewish camp believes children connect to Judaism best when they do so on their own terms. Rather than any heavily intensive Judaic programming, Judaism is “sprinkled” throughout every fun-filled day at camp. This tradition of campers truly living their Jewish values has been the cornerstone of Hilltop for over 50 years. Through intentionally crafted daily schedules, campers create routines and choose several electives while also engaging in group bonding activities. This leads to lifelong friendships and powerful experiences they simply can’t find anywhere else. Ultimately, this is where children come to discover their individual identities and be embraced by a supportive and inclusive community. It’s simple - each kid is unique - here they get that space to be themselves.
