Camp Sabra

Camp Sabra has been home to Jewish children from all over the United States since 1938 (Camp Hawthorne and Camp Wah Kon Dah were merged and renamed Camp Sabra in 1970). Each summer we create a joyous Jewish community surrounded by 3.5 miles of shoreline and 205 wooded acres. We welcome campers from 8-15 for one, two or four week sessions with a wide range of activities that includes water skiing, wake boarding, tubing, lake and pool swimming, sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing, funyaking, zip lining, climbing, gaga indoors and out, Judaics, Tarbut (Israeli cooking, games and dance), archery, video, tennis, soccer, basketball, softball, indoor hockey, arts and crafts, theater, nature, camp outs, and many other daily choices. Our food is VAAD approved kosher, and we eat together in our air conditioned dining hall. Camp Sabra in the Lake of the Ozarks is a magical place where fun and friendship build Jewish lives.
