Camp JCC (Shaw JCC)

Looking for a leadership opportunity this summer? If you love camp and working with younger children and you will be entering grades 9-11 in the fall, then you can apply to be a counselor-in-training (CIT) at Camp JCC.

The CIT program is a leadership-training program that gives you hands-on experience working with campers. CITs will also acquire training in first aid, CPR and babysitting. In addition, each CIT is paired with a different camp group every week to gain experience working with various age groups. The leadership and job skills you will learn in the CIT program can help lead to future employment. Those CITs who complete a minimum of four weeks of camp will receive a CIT completion certificate.

Please sign up for a minimum of two weeks during the summer. Once registered, we will contact you for a pre-camp interview. Questions? Please email szorn@shawjcc.org.
