Camp Friedberg

Camp Friedberg combines the very best practices in summer camping that the JCC has developed over the last fifty years, with new trends and a greater degree of flexibility. With more than ten different camp divisions, our programs for children ages 2-16 meet the needs of every family. We offer round trip transportation, flexible scheduling, extended care options, and diverse programming. Most programs also include a Kosher lunch and daily snacks. We pride ourselves on our dedicated staff, many of whom were campers themselves. Our administrative staff and counselors are chosen for their ability to relate well to children and provide guidance and supervision. Many of our staff are educators and social workers, who have the knowledge and experience to provide your child with a wonderful summer.

The Counselor in Training program will give your teen the opportunity to transition from camper to counselor. CITs take part in orientation and training sessions beginning in January and continuing throughout the spring. They join the rest of the staff for our staff development throughout the month of June. CITs also enjoy the benefits of having activity time throughout the day in addition to being assigned to one of our Junior Division, Early Childhood, or Theatre & Arts Division groups. Over the course of the summer CITs participate in community service, go on exciting trips and have a sleepover at our beautiful campgrounds. CITs will also have the option of joining our Voyager Division on their “Big Trip” of the summer. After CITs register they will be called in for an informal interview.
