Camp Discovery

JCC Camp Discovery offers Metropolitan Detroit families an enriching Jewish day camp experience. The Jewish concepts of kindness (chesed), community (kehillah), repairing the world (tikkun olam) and tradition are at the core of everything we do at Camp Discovery. A strong sense of connection to the Jewish community promotes self esteem and positive values and leads to lifelong friendships and memories. Sessions are one week long, giving families flexibility and choices. Parents can choose one week or all ten weeks of summer day camp for children ages 2-16 years.

LEADERS IN TRAINING (entering grades 10-12)

Where teens become leaders. Through assisting counselors and shadowing specialists, LIT's gain valuable experience developing leadership skills, working with children and understanding the ways of summer camp.
