Camp Chaverim/Travel Camp Galgalim

Day camp is very popular and has been going strong for decades, only getting better along the way. The camp is divided into four units, depending on your child's age. Kitanim is for our youngest campers, those 3 or 4-years-old by Dec. 1, 2014. Bonim is for children entering kindergarten or first grade in the fall. Yeladim is for children entering second or third grade in the fall and Tzofim is for those entering fourth, fifth or sixth grade in the fall. Campers get the chance to experience sports, nature, arts and crafts. There are also late nights for Bonim and Yeladim units and overnights for our Tzofim unit, which are a great time for the campers and really capture the full camp experience. We also offer a Travel Camp for our middle school age campers. This camp is a unique experience that provides the opportunity to explore some of the sites and great destinations of the Capital District! Trips often include theme parks, state parks, laser tag and much more. These trips are designed to give the campers the maximum excitement, while also providing a safe, enjoyable and structured programs. There will also be overnights, where the group travels to a destination and spends one or two evenings. Campers also participate in recreational swim, Oneg Shabbat and many of the exciting events with the rest of our campers.
