BBYO Passport: Central Europe Discovery

Our European travels begin in the grand capital cities of Prague and Budapest. Step back in time wandering the cobblestone streets of Budapest’s Castle Hill and Prague’s Old Town Square. Cruise down the Danube River, tour the world’s largest castle in Prague, explore the expansive markets of Budapest, and enjoy time at the luxurious Szechenyi thermal pools.

As a Jewish experience you’ll learn about Europe’s rich Jewish history and about the lives of world famous intellectual leaders like Sigmund Freud and Franz Kafka who called these cities home. In Poland, the story of the Holocaust unfolds. You’ll re-trace the rise of Nazi-inspired anti-Semitism and bear witness to the horrors of Plaszow, Auschwitz, Birkenau, and Majdanek. You’ll be inspired by the the bravery of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising and be inspired by the righteous Polish students who risked it all to save their Jewish neighbors.
