Camp Shalom (Charles Schusterman JCC)

Camp Shalom is a place to discover new interests, meet new friends and have a summer of a lifetime. Camp Shalom is located at the Charles Schusterman Jewish Community Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Camp is open to children three years old to entering sixth grade; Shalom has a very strong CIT (counselor in training) program for 13-15 year olds.

CSJCC-Camp Shalom is DHS licensed and we follow the licensing requirements as a Child Care Center, even though we are a summer camp. The following was implemented summer 2014. “DHS has eliminated “teen aides” (which we called CITs) and now considers them campers. So for us to be able to keep the “CIT Program” we are now calling it “CIT camp”.
